Why Integrated Lights?
The integrated roof model is not only aesthetically pleasing but also supports the vehicle’s aerodynamic shape. This design makes the lights less susceptible to wind resistance, thereby reducing fuel consumption. Sarco’s streamlined, integrated emergency light unit fits seamlessly onto the vehicle’s roof without protrusions, ensuring high visibility to other road users.
Service and Maintenance
Sarco’s integrated lighting solution consists of front and rear spoilers to which light units are mounted. LED-based light modules are attached with removable brackets, allowing for easy maintenance and replacement. The design is aimed at minimizing installation time and ensuring easy maintenance in the future. If customers do not use factory roof solutions but design their own roof parts, Sarco can assist in connecting the light units to the custom roof solution.
Aerodynamics
In addition to its sleek appearance, the integrated lighting solution improves fuel efficiency. At speeds typical for suburban areas, fuel savings can be significant, sometimes exceeding one liter per 100 kilometers. This becomes increasingly important as fuel efficiency gains in relevance. The aerodynamic design not only reduces fuel consumption compared to traditional light panels but also decreases wind noise inside the vehicle and protects the lights from tree branches. Additionally, the aerodynamically shaped panel is easier to keep clean.
