Our customer register includes the following information:

Individuals: Name, email, and phone number.
Companies/Organizations: Name, business ID, address, contact person’s email, and phone number.
Billing Information: Customer company’s bank account number and/or e-invoicing address.

5. Rights of the Data Subject
Data subjects have the right to know what personal data we have stored about them or confirm that no data is stored. Anyone wishing to check their personal or company-related data must submit a request in a personally signed or otherwise verifiably authenticated document. This ensures that the requestor is the rightful person.

Right to Object to Direct Marketing
Data subjects have the right to prohibit the use of their data for direct marketing purposes.

Right to Deletion
Data subjects can request the deletion of their data if processing is no longer necessary. We process deletion requests and either remove the data or provide a justified reason why deletion is not possible.

As a data controller, we may have a legal obligation to retain certain data. For example, financial record-keeping regulations (Accounting Act, Chapter 2, Section 10) require that accounting material be retained for a specified period (10 years). Therefore, financial records cannot be deleted before the retention period expires.

Right to File a Complaint
Data subjects have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman if they believe we have violated applicable data protection laws.

Customer data is obtained directly from the customer upon the establishment of a customer relationship, through online forms, or via inquiry and other communications.

Data is not disclosed for marketing or other purposes. We ensure that all our service providers comply with data protection laws.

8. Data Processors
The customer register is handled by the business owner and our accounting firm.

9. Transfer of Data Outside the EU
Personal data is not transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

Register data is stored in an Excel file on a single computer with ensured data security. Printed paper versions are delivered to designated locations at the customer’s request and included with invoices for storage in accordance with standard accounting practices.

12. Other Rights
Sarco Oy reserves the right to modify this privacy policy from time to time to comply with legal obligations.
